About Jen Rudis

I battled with weight my entire life.
  
In elementary school, I played sports but was bigger than most of the other girls. As a teenager in high school, I was 5'2' and overweight...not ideal. I never lacked friends or was really made fun of, but I struggled daily with my own insecurities. My goal was to always be the fun, outgoing person (which I think I nailed!) so that it blurred the obvious, but shopping for clothes was frustrating and gym class was daunting.

After trying every "quick fix" and "guaranteed results" diet pill, cleanse, metabolism racing, cabbage soup diet on the planet, I was discouraged, angry, and frustrated. I thought there has to be a better way. And I am going to find it.

I discovered that other people facing similar challenges were getting results with a combination of small lifestyle changes that promote healthy habits.

As a bonus, during this transition I rediscovered the mental clarity and positive energy I was clearly missing.
